Results: The business plan competition, held in 2009-2010, had the following results: • More than 700 applications received in response to an open call for proposals; • 58 finalists and their partners participated in a two-day Marketplace Event in Washington, D.C.; • 14 winning businesses were awarded matching grants of up to $100,000 each;
